no, seems not, but thanks for all your help. You,ve given me Elizabeths siblings and confirmed her parents for me, i dont live far from the records office but i,m terrible at using the machines. Helen |

There's no John that matches in Burton-Joyce but there's one 4 Jan.1746 in Woodborough, Nottinghamshire with parents William Dabell & Mary Lane. Also one 14 Sep.1739, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire with parents William Daybell & Mary. Another one 1733, Nottingham but I don't think you have any way of knowing which is yours. Margaret |

Samuel born 1785, Elizabeth was his mother, but i did,nt have a father for him. Helen |

Helen, must be another Samuel, surely. Elizabeth born 1762 couldn't be the mother of Samuel born 1770? The BVRI are parish records and it said Samuel's parents were John & Catharine. Margaret |

Thankyou you have been so much help, Elizabeth was Samuels mother said in the parish records he was her natural son, so dont think i,ll find his father, is there any baptism records for John and Catherine. Helen |
