I think on the 51 census Maria is a joiner's wife. Would that be similar to boiler maker? Margaret

The BVRI has a christening of John Tipping, 13 Aug.1815, Stockport, Cheshire. Parents Richard & Mary. It's the only one that's close. Any chance it might be him? Margaret

interestingly in 1851 the lady next door is marked as head, but married and is a joiners wife......perhaps the men were on shift at the foundry when the enumerator came around so they wernt included

have added them in, doesnt say place of birth, just not born in Lancashire...which is right taken a second look at 1851 i think is says JOINERS WIFE not farmers wife
