im kooking for any connections on the beattie and the mckills my grandfather was a beattie and his mother was beattie, she went on to have more family who she called mckill as far as im aware she still never married as at james beattie wedding to esther parker douglas burnie in 1927 she signed the register as margaret beattie. there was no partner on the register, there was esther parents david burnie and carolina burnie. also witnness frank burnie and mary burnie, i belive margaret was born around 1887, any information would be great thankyou julie beattie |

Julie, I have spotted your message on the Trying to Find board. You mention James born 1903 and possibly half brothers and sisters of Elizabeth, Violet, Jessy and Isabella. Do you have any of the birth certificates. Maureen (My mother is a McKill but I do not know the Beattie surname) |
