Thanks Julie I emailed Gloucester months ago regarding the asylum for Sarah Whiteman but never had a reply. Was hoping to find out what happened to her as well You definatley have the right family |

Hello, can anyone please look up the 1901 census for me? Alfred Upton 1855 married Sarah J Whiteman in 1881. They had 2 daughters, Sarah Jane 1884 and Emily Alice 1881. Alfred died in 1894 and in 1901 census, Sarah Whiteman was in Gloucester County Lunatic Asylum. I am trying to find out where the daughters were. Thanks Marcelle |
