Member Since: February 2004 Posts: 3 Send Message	My father George Foster was born in Blackburn,Lancashire 1915 he had a younger brother who apprently died at age 18 I believe his name was John but not 100% sure, my father's dad was named George Foster as well and his wife's name I don't know. I am new to this and do not know where to start. Any help would be great - I now live in Canada so not so easy to just phone someone - thank you

Member Since: April 2004 Posts: 3,419 Send Message	probably the best place is to buy your dads birth cert, which will give you his moms maiden name, ive had a look in birth index on ancesty but none blackburn that kind of year. just found this one oct/nov/dec 1915 blackburn mothers maiden name crook vol 8e page 447
