Hi Rose I shall have to rethink this, I know a reliable source told me he was born in Oxford, but I shall go back to my records and come back to this later. Thanks for your time and patience. Regards Diane

Diane, The 1841 doesn't list birth places. There's just a Yes or No as to whether they were born in the county. Rose

'''The 'Where Born' column only asked two questions - 1) whether born in same county, and 2) whether born in Scotland, Ireland, or Foreign Parts. Possible answers and abbreviations to question #1 include: Yes (Y), No, (N), or Not Known (NK). For question #2, the following abbreviations were used: Scotland (S), Ireland (I), and Foreign Parts (F).'' Rose

Can anyone please help me find James and Ann Watts. I have them on 1841 but then I lose them after that. James was a farrier born 1811 in Oxford, Ann was born 1814. In 1841 the family are living in Marylebone, London with daughter Jane and son George. Can anyone please find them afterwards. I would be grateful for any help. Regards Diane
