Jamie, If you don't have it, get his marriage certificate, that will give you his father's name and occupation, and where they were living. So that will help us find him on the census. If you don't know how to get the certificate ...... go to www.gro.gov.uk, and follow the instructions for obtaining certificates. It will cost you £7. BTW ................ never ever pay more that £7 for any certificates. Some sites offer to get certs for you, and charge as much as £25!! You can get them yourself for much less than that!

JamieThankyou Jennifer I know that she came from Torpoint in Cornwall and her Father was Irish which is a shame as that line ends there Herbert was born about 1884 and died in the 1920's they must have lived in Droxford Hants as that is were they are both buried, he in the 20's and she long later in 1975 in her 100th year, the same year I was born, They were my great grand parents, but my grandfather had died before I started this and my mother cant remember much, so I should really order the marriage certificate befor I search any more Many thanks Jamie
