ScotlandsPeople has marriages up to 1931 so unlikely she married before then if born in 1919 Maureen

Samantha Why don't you check for her marriage certificate on Scotland's People this would give you both sets of parents for your grandparents. Good luck Isobel

Hi Samantha, The Scottish Births on Scotlands people only go up to 1906, therfore the birth you are searching would not be there. You will have to order the certificate from the Scottish GRO. This will give you the birth and parents names as well. Also may give you the year the parents married. Betty

ScotlandsPeople website only go up to 1906. For birth certs after that date you need to contact the General Register Office for Scotland or find someone that will do a lookup at the records office for you Maureen

Please can anyone look up the birth of my grandmother. Her name was Mabel Arras Flannery, she was born 19th December 1919 in Leith, Scotland. I would like to know the names of her parent's if possible. Many thanks.
