Actually, I think that Hurn was Caroline's maiden name. There is no father mentioned. Possibly father was a Simpson but she wasn't married to him. Margaret |

Hi Margaret Thanks for looking. I am pretty much sure the one on the IGI is the right one, and i wonder if Caroline's maiden name was Simpson. It's just trying to tie it all up. Many thanks Julie |

Funny, the one on IGI has the name as Celia Hurn Simpson Hurn, 18 Feb.1837. Mother Caroline Hurn. I can't find her on BVRI. Margaret |

I have a Celia Hearn/Hurn b 1837 Buckinghamshire. IGI has mum as Caroline Hurn, and on another site someone has Dad as Edward Hearn. can't pick them up together on the 1841. there is a Celia Hun with mum Ann. 1851 Caroline is re-married and celia is with her. Many thanks Julie xx |
