Thank you Sue, that sounds good, I think the wife of John was Ann Colesel anyway that is what was on the marriage and the 1881 Census her mother was living with John and the children under the name of Cashell but I can't find any births under either of those names. do you think you could possibly find out where she was born on the 1871 Census and then look up the 1891 and 1901 Census please. I have a John Dean B1843 Heston, Hounslow, Middlesex as Widowed on 1881 Census with several children. I am looking for 1871 Census first, I think his wife's name was Mary Ann and they should have possibly four children on it. William 6 - Clara 4 - Frederick 2 and Emily a few months old. They lived at Denmark Cottages Grove Road Isleworth if that is any help. If you manage to find that one do you think you could find the other two please. Much appreciated, Julia
