Linda there are quite a few John Griffiths born in Liverpool 1855 +/- 2 years but none who is a stepchild. I have been looking at Marriages in Liverpool between Owen Owens & a female Griffiths, the trouble is there are quite a few. Georgina.

Georgina, could you try looking on the 1861 census for a John Griffith with a father called Owen Owens. Just a thought, he might be a stepson. Thanks.

John said that he was age 27 on his marriage certificate. He was married 20/02/1882.

I am trying to trace my grandfather, John Griffith Owens aged approx 6 yrs old, born in Liverpool. It says on his marriage certificate that his father's name was Owen Owens, profession, solicitor.
