Hi I have just got a marriage Certificate for Ray Desmond Jarvis aged 29 married Barbara Margaret Eskrett aged 21 married on 24/10/1970 at Hull register Office. The cert says that Ray had his name changed by Deed Poll, does any one know how I would find out what his name was before he had it changed. Thanks Debbie |

Does it give his fathers name on the certificate? That should help you with his previous surname Kath |

Hi Yes it says his Father was William Ernest Booth Jarvis and Ray's address was 6 Grenville Place S.W.7. Thanks Debbie |
