i am trying to find the connection in my family tree a relative elizabeth knollys pulley and several of her siblings have the middle name knollys we were told in old stories that this was because they were distantly related to a lord knollys --or so the stories go elizabeths mother was frances letitia weldale father joseph pulley maternal g/mother frances letitia mayes maternal g/father john weldale i have come across a family in research father john weldale knollys from hertford so am wondering about the connection and any leads on the knollys connection thanks denise
