Is there a 1931 Census for Canada please?

If so, does anyone have access to it or does it have a 100 year closure the same as England? I am looking for a Grace Scott who travelled to Quebeck on the 'Regina' from Liverpool on 14th August 1925. She was born Lincolnshire and was 30 when she sailed in 1925. Kath. x |

Unfortunately, the latest released census is 1911. |

I'm in the middle of painting a bathroom right now (popping in here when it gets too hot in there). I will look around tonight, but I've not been very successful with finding people in the 1900's. (Be happy to look, though.) PS I have one lookup to do before yours. |

Most likely not your Grace, but passing it on anyway: St. Thomas Times-Journal St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada April through June 1947 19 May 1947 Second Section c5 Engagement - Grace Scott, daughter of Clifford Scott of London to John Cousins, son of James Cousins of Belmont - June 10 June 1947 Second Section c6 Married - John Edward Cousins, son of James Cousins of Belmont to Grace Mabel Scott, daughter of Clifford Scott I found another mention of a Grace and will send that directly to you, although it is also most likely 'too recent'. I checked Rootsweb and GenForum and didn't see anything. I will continue to look, but perhaps someone else might had access to records. |
