Edward Liddell or Liddle was born in 1826 in Low Coniscliffe in Durham with father Edward (a Farmer) and brothers Richard and Mark In 1851 he was working as a policeman in North Bishop Wearmouth in Durham and living as a lodger (listed as Siddell) He then moves to Newark, marries Judith Free and eventually becomes a Chief Policeman Can anyone find him in 1841? I think his mother and senior Edward's wife was Ann (nee Wilson) my ancester and am tearing out any remaining hair trying to find them in 1841 Many thanks Kay |
