1841 census look up please

is there a kind soul out there who could please help me find Elizabeth Copestake in the 1841 census? I dont know her exact year of birth, but she would have been at least aged 40. She definately would have been living in Lambeth, Surrey. I've tried various spellings of the surname, but no luck finding her. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Shelly |

Shelly is this her maiden or married name? Have you anything else that would help anchor her down? Childrens names? husbands? parents? |

this would have been her married name. She was married to a Sampson, but there is a possibility that she was widowed or abandoned. She did not remarry and died in 1849, in same area. As far as i know she only had one son called William. shelly |

I found this Elizabeth Copestick, who was a nurse in Finsbury. Thankyou Diana, i did come across that one, but wasnt too sure if it was the right one because of the area. As Elizabeth's son William was born in Lambeth, Surrey in 1821 and she died in Lambeth 1849, I'm assuming that she stayed in the area. However, there is a possibility that if she was a nurse she could have been staying with a family somewhere else. Shelly |
