www*whitepages*ca just gave me 19 results for Paczay. Some have full addresses. Those that don't have the post code and you can work back from the post code on the Canadian Post Office web site. I know cos I did this about a month ago and have now found my second cousin in Winnipeg after a gap of 58 years! He'd actually moved, but one of the neighbours took the letter and forwarded it, so miracles can happen! Good luck! Sheila

Unfortunately, I don't see his father on the 1901 census. Rose

Hi Rose, Daniel was 29 when he got married in 1943, meaning that he would have been born around 1914. Daniels father (according to wedding certificate) was called John Paczay, and his profession was listed as 'farmer'.

L 86791 is his service number. You might be able to research that. Rose

David, if you google '411' you can find telephone numbers for everyone in Canada. There are 18 Paczays, most in Ontario, a few in Saskatchewan. Margaret

David, I checked the 'last post' section of the Canadian Legion magazine which is online and has deaths of Canadian sevicemen. The only Paczay that I could find was a Theodore who died Aug. 16, 2002, age 84, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

I need advice finding my fathers cousins. Their names are Joyce Woolner born 1927 in Hampstead London and Jennifer Woolner born 1942 in Croydon. They are the daughters of Henry John Woolner born 1903 and Annie Woolner born 1903 (nee Lencofski/Adams). Henry John died in an accident in 1942. In 1943 Annie Woolner married a Canadian serviceman named Daniel Paczay. I have the wedding certificate, Daniels profession was quoted as L 86791 R.W.R cook. All my father knows is that after the war Annie left for Canada with the children, and they were never heard of again. I would dearly love to find out what happened to them for my father. I know that my grandfather tried in the 70's without avail. The problem is I dont know where to begin my search. Are there any Canadian geneaology sites where marriage records can be viewed? Any advice would be appreciated.
