Hi there Ive been told by a distant relative that my great grandmother was sent to prison. She was born in 1902 and died in 1948 so I imagine it was in 1930s or so. I have been told that she was on a bus and she 'stabbed a vicar with a knitting needle!'. Does anyone know when public transport first came around? And also if there is any way I can find out if this is true? (I really do hope its not!!!!) Thankyou Colette

Hi Colette, Don't know if you have thought of this at all, but there maybe something in the newspaper reporting the story if you know where it might have happened. Best wishes LM
