BMD look up advice please!!

Oh thank you everyone that narrows it down a BIT, I'll work on that and see if I can suss it out. No Julie I dont know of any children because I didnt know when she'd married. I'll try everyones advice-thanks.

Hi Julie, -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marriages Jun 1903 (>99%) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hennessey Kathleen Steyning 2b 679 Simmonds George Steyning 2b 679 Swaine William Steyning 2b 679 Woodgate Hannah Steyning 2b 679 It is either Swaine or Simmonds.....the only way is to get the certificate. It's either of these George Simmonds OR William Swaine You could look for births for either surname after 1911, with MMN Woodgate But, that would not be conclusive............ The marriage cert is the only foolproof answer Reg

I have looked up a marriage entry on the BMD (ancestry) for Hannah Woodgate Steyning a/m/j 1903 vol 2b page 679 How do I find out the spouses surname??? Advice please Julie
