HI Reg the births would have taken place between 1894-1906 circa trawling through indexes to try and fill the gaps. I have 22 children to find only 9 found on census so far 1891&1901. Some were twin births some were triplets a lot died young so i was told. So thanks for your help got to get back to it. Lorraine

When would the births have occurred? If they were after 1911, the MMN is on the index. Specifically.........when was your grandmother born? Would her parents be on any census? Reg

All bmd's are free on line on the Ancestry website. The only way that I know of to see registration details is to purchase the certs. Reg

I'm trying to find my Nans siblings and their familys... does any one know what happens if you go to the office where they would hold the original records of their births. Can you look at the records yourself? Not sure what happens at local offices. I know that 22 children where born to my great grandparents but don't know all the names as a lot died young. How can i find out who they are? Any advice much appreciated.
