Thank you all - I had noted Baby as a girl and wondered what had happened to her! Must be John. My interest is with the niece Elizabeth but am tracking down Wilks/Wilkes in Camberwell/Peckham as they all seem to be linked - apart from my Elizabeth! Baby is sweet though - I usually see them as 'infant' ! Jill |

It says 'son' on the image. Was it actually a girl? My grandad was 6 days old on the 1881 census. I'm so glad he didn't hang on in there for another week, or he would have been harder to find!!! Kath. x |
