This is the only marriage recorded for those names Name: Violet Wilkinson Year of Registration: 1915 Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun Spouse's Surname: Short DISTRICT: Wolverhampton County: Shropshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands Volume: 6b Page: 1328 (click to see others on page) this is it the other way round Name: William Short Year of Registration: 1915 Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun Spouse's Surname: Wilkinson DISTRICT: Wolverhampton County: Shropshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands Volume: 6b Page: 1328 (click to see others on page) This is a birth for William but I'm not sure if it's the right one. Do you have more information? Name: William Short Year of Registration: 1891 Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec DISTRICT: Wolverhampton County: Shropshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands Volume: 6b Page: 518 (click to see others on page) This William was the son of Jane (widowed) by 1901 and had older sisters Betsey and Jane. There are a few William Shorts born in staffs around that time as well as a few Violet Wilkinsons. Were they even born in Staffs? Liz Liz

No record of a marriage between Violet Wilkinson and Short in 1937, 1938 or 1939 Reg

The only way to find info is to locate the marriage reg'n, and buy the cert. It will tell you their ages at the time, plus the names and occupations of their respective fathers. When you have an idea of when each was born, you can search for birth certs.........etec, etc.......... Reg

looking for info on william short and violet wilkinson my wifes grandparents,we think they wed in 1938,,would love to find out about william and violets parents and any other family members,,,,,,helpppppppp we know very little of them,,,, thanks,,,
