Member Since: April 2005 Posts: 5 Send Message	Hi, I have had lots of luck tracing my partners grandfather and now I am going to try to find info on mine!! My paternal grandfather WALTER CHARLES DIXON born 1914 in gloucestershire, he was killed in an accident involving falling on live train tracks in thorpe le soken, essex in easter of 1946, after returning from ww2 with regiment 2nd battalion gloucesters. I know he had a sister called ivy also from gloucester (stroud) who apparently married a man named les nibblet, who worked on the docks in gloucester. My nan, gwendoline rosina dixon- nee woodley(walters wife) is still alive, but obviously does not find this a nice subject to talk about. I would like to find out any hospital records of his accident-as grim as it is- and to also find any other relatives of his, including ivy his sister. Would be grateful of any help or possible look ups. Abi.
