I will be off the London Metropolitan Archives on thursday and thought id offer to do some searching, as i have had alot of help from these boards. I will do a few blanket searches, but please don't be disappointed if i do not find anything!! It would be very helpful if you had an approx parish and year of event. Try and give as MUCH information as you can, as anything will help. I may not get through all requests, but i am going to be going up there quite often, as all my exams have finished! So i will make a note of it, and look next time. Liz

Hi Liz Bit a a mystery for me, maybe young eyes will find out for me. Looking for the birth of Peter Tomkinson born 1773 died 1848 St Pancras married Martha Shipley 1796 St Andrews, Holborn. Martha died 1845 in Clerkenwell. Therefore the area to look is probably Pancras Many thanks for your time Please do'nt worry if you don't find anything - I have been looking for about 15 years. I'm looking for burial of ANN BELL - or she could be MARY ANN BELL. Wife of William Bell. There are 3 possible periods according to BMD. Ann Bell 1844 June qtr or 1847 Dec qtr. James Staples A docker born 1869 St George in the East any info on him esp his Death which we belive to be around the 1920's. Somehow he just does not show on any Death records!! This is the same with his brother William Frederick Staples born 1867. George Staples (James father) A merchant Seaman. His Wedding to a Mary Ann Barrett around 1850-1867. I have done the FreeBMD to death and not come up with anything. Living in 12 High Street Shadwell in 1873,& Joseph Street in 1867. Anything on these two would be icing on cake. I really need a lookup in this book: Peabody Trust - Estate Records: Tenants Registers File - Whitecross Street (Roscoe Street/Dufferin Dwellings): Indexed - ref. ACC/3445/PT/07/079 - date: 1911 - 1968 I am desperately trying to find out more about my Great Granny Florence B Bailey, I have not been able to find her birth and she died very young, so I know next to nothing about her. In August 1920 she was living at 29E Roscoe Street (I think this was in St Lukes, Islington), probably with her father Henry F Bailey, a Gas Fitter. Her mother may have been called Harriet, and she had a sister Lilian. I am really hoping there might be some more information about her family in the tenants register, if I could find out who was living at 29E in August 1920, perhaps I can find out more about her family! Many thanks in advance - and again, I'll understand if you are too busy, this request is asking a lot I know! Sarah
