marriage date for Thatcher and Portway.

Please if anyone has access to any marriage records could they help me find the exact date of my grandparents marriage. James Lawrence Thatcher married Elizabeth Amelia Portway in Apr/May or June 1923 at Bethnal Green. I need the exact date to obtain a copy of their marriage certificate. TIA

Hi, You don't need the exact date to order the cert from GRO. All you need is the GRO ref details. The details are June quarter 1923 Bethnal Green volume 1c page 225 Deb:)
