But the problem is that you want to find Henry and Theresa in the 1901 census - and unless you have the 1902 birth certificate you are not going to know if you have the right family.

Well unless you want to wait for the 1911 census then its going to be difficult to prove who the parents are. There is no marriage for a Henry Wait to a Theresa/Teresa showing on freeBMD:

I was looking for Henry & Theresa on the 1901 census but it looks like they weren't married yet. There's this Henry in Newhaven, Sussex. Then I would suggest you get his birth certificate as this will give mother´s maiden name, which will help find the marriage of his parents and also help find them on the 1901 census.
