When was the funeral? I have seen newspaper reports of funerals that listed the 'mourners' and detailed the floral tributes and wording on them. Maybe a main library or archive will have old newspapers for that area,on fiche. Gwyn

Would this person have been born in the UK? If so, you should be able to find his birth reg'n to verify the info He might have been born in time to appear on 1901 census..........have you checked? Reg

Hi I have just found ut ihave uncle who was 13 years older than my father (my father was borin 1912) my uncle so iam to believe went to africa. but i also found out somebody turned up at a relatives funeral (the person i have not met person when alive) with the same name dont know it was uncle or son ? i have tried looking for above name on friend and keying in country south africabut nothing comes up as i never knew thet existed to a few days dont no much detail many thanks i advance for ny info gill
