Not easy to pinpoint Esther in 1891 but I wonder if this is her in 1881? The marriage certificate of the couple in the above posting would tell you her father's name. his name was arthur Ernest PREECE. born 25/12/1898. in the County of Hereford, Registration district Leominster. Birth cert states mother as Edith Esther PREECE a general domestic servant. There is no mention of his father on the certificate at all.

Have my grandfathers birth cert but cannot trace either of his parents. No mention of father on cert. No sign of him or his mother on the 1901 census. He was born in 1898. Anybody got any tips on how I continue my search please.
