Hi i recently came across a family tree on Ancestry world tree relating to a family named RYAN who lived in Liverpool England .The family all went their separate ways in the 1920s The people i am looking for are the following. Marion(Minnie Ryan) Warwood Death: 17 SEP 1948 in Anderson's Bay Cemetery, ref 2735, Dunedin, New Zealand Mary (Elizabeth) RYAN. Dwyer married several times # Birth: ABT. 16 JUL 1886 in Bury/Salford/Prescot/Liverpool??, England # Death: 22 DEC 1966 in Te Arae Rest Home, Dunedin, New Zealand of Acute myocardial failure. an extract of info Born 16/7/1887????? Not sure about year. When father died,she and her sister Millie/Minnie put into care. Her and Millie/Minnie came to NZ . Marys niece , daughter of Millie/Minne called Marion? After leaving convent she went back to Liverpool. Sister Minnie stayed in London as home help, meet a man and moved to NZ.married name of Bauchamp/Bauchop in Dunedin NZ. Liverpool, Merseyside rellies remember Mary Ryan saying goodbye to brother Jimmy of Knotty Ash, Liverpool to emigrate to NZ on the Paparoa. Kelvin visited Liverpool. Stayed in orphanage=Saint Mary's Abby & School, Mill Hill, Cnr Ridgeway & Lawerence St, London NW7. Came to NZ aprox on the Paparoa. Been in NZ 46 years when died aged 66 yrs therefore arrived in 1920. The Paparoa was a cargo ship, but did first passenger run on 25/5/1921 left from Southampton to Wellington via theCape. A child was lost overboard at the cape.Crew mutinied after captain always drinking. Cremated at Anderson's Bay Dunedin NZ. Bauchop and the Warwood were cousin to James Joseph junior( Rosemary father). Address before leaving for NZ was with Grace Duckworth the maternal grandmother of Kitty, The Ginnell, Liverpool.
