Has any one requested cert's from the 1920s? I am debating whether to order my father's birth certificate (1924) I know where he was born, and I wondered if it will show his fathers full name, occupation and address? I had assumed he was born where his younger brothers were born, but this is not the case and so I am trying to find out why his parents were in that area. Thanks

Thanks Jennifer and Nicola, will order I think, I know my fathers full name which very conveniently contains his mum's maiden name, but there is a query re where his mum and dad were born, made more complicated by the fact that they both seemed to have used either their middle names or an entirely different one!
