Pam If I were you I would order the birth certificate for Solomon Jones born in the december quarter 1849, when you have his parents names it will help to confirm or eliminate the Jones/Shepherd family and that way if it is the wrong family you will only have wasted £7. OMG what a blinking family. Found a marriage of Jones & Shephard like Selina. Trying to find Birth Date of a Solomon Shephard but not got it yet. Was in more of a panic because i found a William Jones married in 1838 to a Mr.George Shephard then noticed 2 ladies names. That would have given me headache. finding Solomons parents. Pam I cant work out the Jones/Shepherd connection this family have. Elizabeth is married to William but he is clearly a lot younger than her and Benjamine is only 8 years younger than his step father. I have looked for a marriage for Elizabeth to William but the time frame dosent match. I will see if I can find them in 1841.
