My great grandparents George Lamneck/Lemnack/Lemneck born 1871 in Austria and wife Anna (nee Polacheck) born 1878 Austria arrived in Canada, via America (we think New York) around 1903. George died in 1924 in Regina and in his obituary it says he arrived in Canada 21 years ago, first living in Winnipeg until about 1912 then moved to Regina. Anna and George also had children Josephine Mary born 1899 in Austria and Rudolph (Rudy) born c1895 Austria. I have looked on the Canadian census and cant find them anywhere (I can only assume the surname has been grossly mispelled) and also on the Ellis Island passenger lists any help would be greatly appreciated as I am at a loss. A Great Aunt says they (her parents) arrived in New York on the Mayflower?! With thanks Danielle
