Hi all I have a John Beaumont age 1 on 1891 born Stonehouse Devon & on 1901 census a Joseph Beaumont age 11 born Stonehouse Devon. I couldn't find a death for either so was wondering if it is the same person. My problem is if this is the same person which one is he as there is a John Edward F Beaumont born Dec 1889 & a Joseph Henry Beaumont born Dec 1891. I will post the census entrys in a mo. Lorraine |

Lorraine as the family in 1891 & 1901 are living at the same address 17 Water Lane I think you can assume they are the same people. Georgina. |

Logically he is the John Beaumont born 1889. The on eborn in Dec 1891 would not show on 1891 census. The earlier one would still be under 2 years old therefore showing as age 1. Or am I missing something here? Jill |

If he was born Dec Q 1889 that would make him somewhere between 15 months and 18 months old at time of 1901 census. That's the one I'd go for. Jill |

Thanks for your input Jill, I've been getting really confused with this family as some of the other children had different names on each census & it took me a while to sort it out. But with this one, as I found a John & a Joseph born in the right place I did wonder if they were the same person or if both were sons of this family. Thanks again everyone for your help. Lorraine |
