Has anybody got any information on how to find out about a person in the Home Guard, i have found thisOfficial Letter in a box given to me from a relation, the name on the letter is S Shuttleworth. The letter regards the Kings signiture on the bottom - George I assume the person died, i'm almost certain he was married to my granddad's sister Emily worthington born 1900/1 at Glasson dock near lancaster, is there anyway of finding out anything about this family. All i have is that emily was born at brows cottage glasson dock and one of the children was called sam, i assume emily died young as my grandad's other sister [margaret/peggy] brought him up....Emily's parents were eleanor butler and john worthington..... regards angela |
