Thanks GB, yes that it her daughter, Ann married & it her death in 1882 that Jane was the informant of. Son William moved to Yorkshire & I have been able to trace his family without any trouble ( He used the name Hollock ! ) Thanks for the input, Margaret.

Have you tried searching using the name Jane only, no surname and her year and place of birth, I have found some of mine like that with all sorts of weird surname spellings.

Hello, I have a death certificate dated 16th July 1882. The informant is JANE HOLLICK, 4 Court Aston Road Duddeston. ( B'ham) Now I have looked & failed to find her on the 1881 at all. Can some kind person try & find her for me? The last sighting I have for her is the 1861 when she is listed as Head, Married, 37, Laundress, b ABERFORD, YORKS. No sign of her husband Thomas Hollick b Cumberland....to add to my misery their name could be Hallick/Hallock/ Hulluck....take your pick !!! Any help would be much appreciated. Margaret.
