Some of these parishes and hamlets represent the entirety of the piece, while others are just portions of a piece. On the 1851 census.........below the search box there is some text......... Scroll down to where it says..'learn more'.....I think it's in green print. Click on that, then scroll down again..........there is a fairly comprehensive list of the 'gaps'. At least two of them are parts of Salford. If you have trouble finding it, let me know, and I'll copy it here for you Reg

Could you please try 1871census please. I've asked for 1851 but not found I can't find The Steel's on 1871 census. Got them in 1841, 1861, 1881, 1891 James Steel b 1822 in Salford Lancs (Wife) Ann Ingham b 1820 Derbyshire (Daughter) Ann Steel b 1848 Salford Lancs. (Son) Henry Steel b 1851 Salford Lancs (Son) George Steel b 1862 Salford Lancs Sorry to be a pain. It's the end of the line Thanks Pamx
