Does anyone know where i can order certificates by using a Visa electron form a secure site, and tired GRO, thanks. thanks for your replies. Could someone explain to me how about cheques in the post, i dont think im old enough for a cheque book, but can i still pay the post office to send me one out? is it called a postal cheque?

Your best bet would be to phone the GRO in Southport and explain that you are having difficulty ordering a certificate. Ask them what the easiest way for you to order and pay would be. If you happen to live near the register office where the event took place, then you could call in there and order the certificate and pay with cash. Kath. x

Thomas you can buy a Postal Order from the post office, there is a small fee so for a £7 postal order you will probably pay £8. Georgina.
