Can any one do an 1851 Scottish look up please .Angus +Catherine Mckinnon .There children were Janet b 1836 Mull Argyleshire ,Catherine b1838, Mary b 1842 and Duncan 1845. Possibly living in Glasgow area as Janet married 1856 in Glasgow . Thanks Cath |

Reggie , I don,t think this is her . I am sure i found her with her family a while ago when i myself was subcribed to Ancestry and sure i kept a copy but for the life of me can,t find it. She used the name Jessie most of her life . Thanks Cath |

Do you have any idea of when Angus and Catherine were born or when. Occupation for Angus would be useful Do you have Angus and Catherine on 1841 census or 1861 census Maureen |

Hi , Sorry for teking so long to reply Had to get tea started. Angus and Catherine both died before the 1861 census From Scarlet fever .The children were then split up among relatives then .eventually ened up in England. Back in a mo when i just check my records to see if i have anymore info that may help. cath |

Just had a look at a letter from Angus,s g.daughter found in her paper work when she died . Angus {Red] Mckinnon owned a farm called Dalness farm in Glencoe . And the children were born in Oban except Janet who was born in Mull. When Angus and catherine died the estate was handed to Duncan who refusd to take it over This is all i have . Cath. |
