right, i've found a varney jones and a thomas jones on the 1881 census (thanks reg) they had a son william (9) john (7) and a charlotte whos age is not mentioned. they lived at 18 pickering street....on the marrige cert it is marked 16 pickering street.......... can this help...and is it safe to presume they are the same family?..... thanks again anis
