Is there somebody out there who can help me, I am looking for a James Henry Hewitt Born 1840 Margate kent and wife Hannah born 1841 Kent. I have all of the census except this one. There could be a few children with them, Ann E (13) Mary E (10) Sarah A (15). There are others but they might be too old. The census seem to come under all different names Hewell being one of them, a contact looked for me and couldn't find it but suggested I put it on the board and maybe somebody else can come up with a few different variations on the name. I have an address of 18 Magdala Road, St Peters in 1881 that is the only known address. Much appreciated if anybody can find it. Thanks Julia.

Hi there, I am so sorry I really messed up here, I wasn't thinking straight, James Henry wasn't married in 1862. Sorry about that. James parents were William and Mary. William was born 1816 Kent, on 1851 Census they had 5 children James Henry 10 Alfred 7 sarah A 5 Ann E 3 and Mary E 8 months. Thank you for the Hannah Shingleton census. It is the one for William and Mary I would like, possibly James Henry would be on it with them in 1861. Also anything else that you can follow up with for William and Mary in following census's. I don't think the one you gave me in 1861 for James with mother Maria is the correct one - my fault. Also now you have found Hannah Shingleton in 1861 do you think you could possibly find out anything else for 1851 please. I am sorry to confuse you Julia

Thankyou for everything, . Would it be possible now to check out Census 1891/1901 for James William Hewitt b1865 St Peters and wife Anna Maria b 1867 Lakeheath please. I think in 1901 they would have six children. Also Hannah Hewitt b 1863 St Peters. married in 1880 to either Thomas William Pemble or Charles Henry Shapland. I think she was married to a John Setterfield b1862 St Peters. Charles Henry Hewitt b 1873 St Peters, Kent. I think he was married to a Harriet Dennett b1870 Monkton Kent. 1891/1901 Census William Stephen Hewitt b1869 St Peters Kent. I think he was married to an Agnes Sarah Payne. b1867 Thanet and m 1885. The only one that I do not know anything about is the daughter Caroline E b1866 Westwood, Kent. She was on the 1881 Census with her parents at 18 Magdala Road, St Peters. Joseph Tyrrell or Turrell Hewitt b1843 Margate, with wife Jane (nee Newing)b1843 Ash Kent. I can find no trace of marriage. Jane Newing yes married but not to him. Is there a possibility of finding an 1871 Census for this couple please. Julia
