According to Ancestry birth records, there is a Sandra A James born in the first qtr. of 1948 in Bournemouth. The index says that her mother's maiden name is James, so it would appear that if this is the right entry, then Sandra's mother was born a James. Kath. x

I would be grateful if anyone visiting the records office for Bournemouth could look up The James family who included in their number Annie Mary James (mother) born 1862 - Blandford Tarrant Dorset Charles John James (father) born 1862 - Rowe Dorset Frederick G James (son) born c1891 - Bournemouth Frank C James (son) born c1894 - Christchurch Hampshire Harry James (son) born 1896 - Bournemouth In 1901 they where resident in Bournemouth in 31 Shelbourne Rd. In 1934 Charles, Annie and Frank where in 157, Shelbourne Rd. In 1947 - 48 Annie was living in 157 Shelbourne Rd. with a Kathleen May James born c1925 this was the mother of Sandra Ann James who was adopted in 1948 We are trying to make the connections between Kathleen and the James family was she married into the family or a James by birth. Any details that may join the dots for us would help Thanks john fisher
