Hi I am strilllooking and wondering if anyone can do look ups for Holland?????? This is along shot but I nee some help. I am researching my husbands family tree and have hit a brick wall at his grandparents. the info I have is as follows - Theodoar Evelyn Hart (nee Smitts) Born 1917 in we think Anmsterdam. Alfred Hart Not certain of year of birth 1913??? Born- no idea! they were married we think in India (as he was working out there). Alfred has a sister called Enid - no idea bout year of birth or place but she married a colin Gill and went on to have 3 children one of whom was Garth Gill. Theo and Alfred had a daughter Gillian Hart 1942 born in Calcutta. and that is the scale of the families knowledge... so this brick wall is big!! Can I find details for Amsterdam and India? What about orphaned children are there any records - I thought about getting Alfreds and Theos marriage cert for the fathers surnames but I have no clue as to when they were married or where - apart from it could have been in India. Any help would really be greatly appreciatd. Wendy

If they were British subjects, the BMD info will be on the overseas section of the findmypast website. Reg
