Fi, You might be best off waiting for the cert to arrive. Ive been looking for the last 40 mins or so, and have found nothing!!! They may have been badly transcribed on the 1841. Hopefully the birth cert will give you some more clues?

Hi All, Glitter Baby thanks for the 1851 info I actually do have the census page. I love collecting them which is why I am miffed about not finding them on 1841. Marion, Thanks. I dont think that is them but will bear that in mind. Fox, I am sorry but right now I have no idea of Jane's surname however I have just this morning ordered their daughter Ann's birth certificate from 1844. Thanks Fi

Not having much luck at the moment. Do you know Jane's maiden name? If you can find out where they married (I assume it was somewhere in scotland) then it might narrow down the search a bit. That is assuming Jane is the mother of all the children!!

Please can you help me. I have a Samuel Atkin born 1813 approx in Scotland. I have him on the 1851 living in Liverpool with his family. 2 of his children (aged 12 and 18) were born Scotland, the younger 2 (aged 6 and under) were born in Liverpool. His wife Jane was also born Scotland in 1811 approx. Many Thanks Fi
