passport application around 1900

Is there anyone who would be able to find out for me about a passport application possible between 1898/1902?

You didnt NEED a passport in those days, so not everyone would have bothered. OC

Sue C many thanks for your offer....His name was James Atherton Downham born bebington cheshire in 1866 i know that he was in Argentine in 1901 and went back out there and died date unsure of but around 1914/16
