Hi I have a William Furb(e)y b.1840. in census records his birth place is Warwick (warickshire) Birmingham (warickshire) and Oldham (lancashire) in the 1861 census it has been mistranscribed as DENBY. His father was called John Furby occupation Blacksmith (found on williams marriage cert) I cant find any records of Williams birth or on 41/51 census and I'm unable to connect him to his father John Furby. I do however have a feeling he was originally from yorkshire. Any help or ideas greatly appreciated. thnx janet
