Thanks very much for your help Reggie. They had a daughter Sarah which matches with the entry for James. I wonder if the younger children are grandchildren. |

The 'children' are all listed as sons and daughters.........however, I would think it more likely that the 8 month old was a grandchild........his mother would hardly be working away from home with him not weaned. Could someone please see if they can find JAMES ELLIS born abt 1799 in Romford Essex on the 1841 and 1851 census please. I believe his wife's name is Sophia and she was also born in Romford in abt 1800. Could you please tell me who he is living with and an address, if it gives one. Thank you for your help. julie |
