hi all hoping someone can help me i have a charles daniels and annie daniels nee smith married in 1917 could someone find the children they had by any chance, i think annie could have remarried when charles died any help would be great, thanks

Well, you could try by looking at the complete bmd index on ancestry - its free and going through each of the quarters of the years from 1917 looking in right area for children registered as Daniels with mother Smith. Of course unless you then buy the cert you wont really know these are the same couple. Certificates can be bought for £7 at GRO online. Good luck!

I am not very good at all this but i have looked on ancestry uk and can not find any wedding for them. Obviously the last census was 1901 and so they would not be on there as a married couple if they wed in 1917. The best thing to do if no one else comes to your rescue is probably go onto find my past.co.uk and pay for some units to look through the names index for weddings in 1917 in the birmingham area and hopefully you may have more like finding them on that. Good luck it can be so frustrating but worth it all in the end.

hi thank you very much but they were all born in birmingham...
