im looking for help on finding a frederick richard alban rolph born abt 1895 ,not known where,his marriage cert has him as 25 in 1919, married in steyning sussex,his dads name is william (deceased in 1919) william was a mechanical engineer, frederick married a lousia main, she was same age and b isle of wight, i have managed to trace her family. witnesses on cert are, e s sears and g h austin, not sure if them names will be any help. i have tried numerous ways of searching his name, dont know when his dad died.i have to go off now and cook better halfs tea, so if anyone does reply please dont think im ignoring you, i will be back on later this eve. thanks all.

Carol ..........I'm not so sure you've found the right Frederick in 1901 There is a birth reg for a Frederick William Rolph in Romford ( which is the covering district of Barking) Jennifer ........There are a few people here on genes who have this Frederick in their tree...... you can contact them and see if he fits into your tree. I wondered if maybe his surname was Alban . I say this because I've had one or 2 in my line who were illigetamate and the mothers married within months and the children kept the surname they were reg with as a middle name and tagged the step fathers surname n the end!!
