getting one of the childrens birth certs will give you the maiden name

I have looked on ancestry UK byt can not find the marriage of Harvey Middleton born between 1846-8 london Stepney and his wife Eliza i do not have her maiden name but have traced them down in 1891 as being a couple with children. Harvey was in the 1871 census as still living at home with his mother rebecca and father william so i take it he must have married between that census and the 1891 so we have 20 years to play with. None of the marriages on ancestory are him infact the only one that was close was one between emma fitzgerald but that is not my husband as the wedding cert showed the father as alfred. If anyone knows how else i could find the marriage i wopuld be greatful. Mandy

Thank you everyone yes thats the details i have found i thought the Harvey married to Elize was my one but maybe it is the one married to the lady named Rustin can anyone find the marriage details though so that a cert could be applied for as i know that he did have a family and passed on the name of Middleton to his son who went on to have tow more generations of Middletons? Mandy it doesnt say hes married to the Emily Rustin on the 1881. says he a boarder and all her childen are in her name. Emily is down as married, husband away!!

Thanks Jill no they are other relatives of mine. This Harvey is a nephew and probably great nephew. I have got a certificate for a Frederick Middleton that i must have ordered a long time ago and when i got it thoiught it was not one of my relations. I have just noticed that the mother is Emily Rustin or Ruston and i think they must have had those children and some of them if not all of them, as i can not find the birth details for Mary R, must have been Harveys children as they have his name but i wonder if they ever got married even though she puts her name as Enmily Middleton formerly Rustin on the certificarte?
