Thanks for that. I had a look and it appears that some records may be held at Kew. Never visited there before but I have another ancestor who was in the army back in the 1880s who I would like more info about so I guess it would be worth the visit. Thanks again, Lorraine

Hi Lorraine Never researched any POW's but I have found this guide on the national archives website who hold numerous records relating to POW's for WW2 and the Korean war. http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/catalogue/RdLeaflet.asp?sLeafletID=303

Does anybody know where I could find any records online for POWs in 2nd World War? My husband's grandfather was a POW and I'd really like to find out more information for him as both his parents and all his grandparents are dead so there really is nobody to ask for further info. Many thanks, Lorraine
